Ibiza Beaches Cala Bassa, Spain

Cala Bassa is located on the west end of Ibiza island there are pedaloes, banana boats, and a volleyball net on the Beach. Its a great fishing spot, and with beautiful countryside a good area to go for a walk.

With fine golden sand and shallow clean waters; perfect for the family. It features a 250metre long sandy beach, which sheltered by steep hillsides is often compared to a fjord. The beach was recently awarded a Blue Flag status.

Cala Bassa is a beautifully secluded beach heaven. With its bordering forest of verdant pines, this large curve of soft white sands hugs shallow crystal clear waters, home to a variety of watersports, from jet-skiing to banana boats.
The sea bed has a gentle gradient and is great for families, especially with many sporting facilities available in the Summer months.

The beach does tend to get busy in the peak summer months with the arrival of the regular bus and boats from the nearby San Antonio. Sunbeds and pedal-boats are available for the less energetic, as are a few cafes.

Journey down the road out from San An bay and follow the signposts or catch a ferry across.
